Muriel Sackey

Muriel is a Georgia-based interior designer and owner of sakInteriors, Inc in Atlanta, Georgia. In developing her own firm, Muriel was able to capitalize on her passion for transforming space into original and functional interiors.

Muriel’s signature interior designs demonstrate her sense of style, her preference for quality materials, and her solid design foundation. Her innovative approach to both traditional and contemporary interiors has earned her honors among her peers. Her devotion to staying on top of the latest trends in textiles and colors keeps her firmly grounded in the present.

Design Background

Muriel graduated with honors from American Intercontinental University (AIU) in Atlanta, Georgia with a degree in Interior Design. After graduating from AIU, Muriel gained extensive experience working as a designer for the Ai Group and Marcia Davis and Associates in Atlanta, Georgia.

Professional Achievements

Muriel's projects have been featured on the cover pages of Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine, Atlanta Homes, Atlanta, In Design and Canoe. Muriel was nominated as a finalist for the 2007 Young Top Designers in Atlanta by the American Society of Interior Designers Atlanta Chapter.

Muriel is an allied member of American Society of Interior Designers and founder of House of Restoration Africa, Inc, a non-profit organization to help improve the lives of families in West Africa.
